I’m in the elevator as the doors begin to close. Someone runs up, reaches their hand up way in the air (similar to the Nazi salute) and reaches in-between the doors to force them to reopen so they can get in. They look at me and say, “I can’t believe they put the sensor way up there, you have to reach way to to the red light to stop the doors from closing.” I’m like (to myself), Really? At that height? You think that’s the sensor? What about short people or someone in a wheelchair? Are you saying the elevator wasn’t designed to accommodate those people? The doors will always close on them?
