Each and (most) every week I produce a well thought out podcast — or at least at hope that is what it is. But sometimes it’s just not there. Sometimes I’m empty. I’m distracted.
This is why I call myself The Distracted Philosopher. I’m distracted by quite a bit. Life is a big distraction. Death is a big distraction, along with the fear of death. It’s not shiny objects that distract me, it’s meaning. I’m searching for meaning in my life and that takes me down unusual paths. But it all comes down to the chaos and turmoil inside of me. The overthinking, the under thinking, the fear, the voices, the thoughts — some of which are not my own — at least I hope they are not my own because that would be scary.
I question myself. Should I create? Should I create something else? Or should I stop?
Things are changing. I’m changing. You’re changing.
God is NOT in your TV. I am not God. I am not afraid. This is who I am.
Some of these statements are false.

“The results of the election are just that. They are not a time for hatred and violence. If you believe the system is rigged, then participate in your governmental process to change it. By the way, a new president isn’t going to change the country. Only we can do that.” – The Distracted Philosopher
